Gayle Rothschild

Gayle Rothschild began studying fine art photography at Photoworks in 1978.  She earned an MFA from the University of Maryland and began her teaching career at Photoworks in 1983, also teaching at Trinity and Montgomery Colleges and Visual Arts in Rockville.  Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally and her photographs are in the collections of the Museum of Fine Art, Houston, Texas, and the Corcoran Museum of Art.  She is the photographer/illustrator for the children’s book, “What Is the Sign For Friend”.
